On Valentine's Day
The last year has been a neverending heartbreak. It’s been a constant reaffirmation that I’m not wanted enough, not good enough, not special enough.
I’m so tired and so desperately sad.
I stole Stefan’s espresso maker, and discovered how to froth milk without any special equipment. So far today, I’ve had four pulls of straight espresso, a latte, a plain (and incredibly delicious) cappuccino, and working on a mocha. This is a fantastic day.
Bud, the cat that my family’s had since I was four, died today. I grew up with Bud and he was the most awesome cat I’ve ever met.
I’m going to cuddle Roman and look at kitten pictures and be very, very, sad.

1: Attempt to steal the robe from the hospital.

It’s extremely windy here, so the tree near my window is shaking and banging around and occasionally hitting the window pane. Roman, my cat, is freaking out and growling at the window. I’ve never met a cat who growled before, but it’s not having a particularly intimidating effect and just makes me want to cuddle him.
